Ice walls in a steep canyon.

  • Up to 5 km and about 3 hours on foot along the canyon trail
  • Spikes for your shoes and warm clothing provided

The trail has steep sections and can be slippery; you should be happy walking on uneven ground for about three hours.

Which day out is the easiest?

The snowshoe walk and Ranua Wildlife Park. Korouoma has steep, icy sections, and Riisitunturi is a long day.

Is pick-up from the chalet included?

Yes. We pick you up at your chalet at Ollerovaara, about ten minutes from Rovaniemi centre, and bring you back afterwards.
