Husky rides in Rovaniemi

Drive your own team of huskies for 8–10 km through the snowy forest outside Rovaniemi, about 40–45 minutes on the trail, then warm up by the fire with a hot drink and grilled sausages. 3.5–4 hours in all, with pick-up at your chalet, from €215 per adult.

Questions

How long are we actually on the sled?

About 40–45 minutes on the trail, 8–10 km. The whole outing, with the kennel visit, the fire and the transfers, takes 3.5–4 hours.

Do we need to bring warm clothes?

Overalls and boots are provided. Bring your own base layers, a warm hat, mittens and wool socks.

Can children come on a husky ride?

Yes. Two people share a sled, and children aged 3–14 pay the child price. Guests over 16 can swap and drive halfway.

How much does a husky ride cost in Rovaniemi?

€215 per adult, €189 per child (3–14). Prices for a private group of your own are listed with each day out.

Is pick-up from the chalet included?

Yes. We pick you up at your chalet at Ollerovaara, about ten minutes from Rovaniemi centre, and bring you back afterwards.
